| Leopard released into wild

Amreli, Feb 8 /--/ A leopard which strayed into a residential Khamba taluka village was captured and later released into the forest area, officials said today.
The incident took place on Sunday in Bhadvankin village located on the outskirts of Gir forest region, they said.
The wild animal, which ventured out of the forest area, allegedly in search of food, was spotted by villagers, following which a trap was laid to catch it after continuous complaints, they said.
